From December 16, 2014 till January 13, 2015 in MMORPG Guild Wars 2 will take place Wintersday Competitive Events.
First let me tell you about the Sneak Attack event. For each player's murder on WvW you will earn one point to your world. If your world has Borderlands Bloodlust (and you killed your enemy with the finisher's help), you will be added an extra point.
During this event the objects that are under attack, will not have an icon with swords. Also, Guild Wars 2 developers introduced a new effect called Mist War Summons. It gives players + 15% WXP, + 50% on WvW and + 15% experience from WvW murders.
Until January 13, you should go more often to the arena ranks, because for the best places on the leaderboard you will get exclusive PvP prizes (only the best fighters will get Glorius Hero armor). Top 250 - Mini Llama, Top 20 - one piece of Glorius Hero armor, Top 5 - two pieces of Glorius Hero armor.
